Responsible for technical leadership and/or development of customer ordered solution. Responsible for implementation, testing and startup of technical solutions created by yourself or others. Must collaborate with customers and associates for best solution, and be willing and able to take direction from project management leaders. This position will require frequent updates to management and customers for work status updates. This position requires specific and well documented expertise in Oil and Gas industry technologies, and has shown the ability to mentor, lead and modify technical solutions involving complex systems. This position is recognized as a technical leader utilizing Tegron developed technology tools, and has an ability to deliver solutions at or below a predefined budget. This position leads the development of reusable tools to be utilized across the enterprise.

Job Description

• Work well within a team environment, and provide input and feedback to both Tegron and our customers for technical solutions, and input to difficult problems.  Must be able to lead the architecture of solutions, and be accountable for the success or failure of the solution
• Provide technical leadership for proposal and estimation development, and will require research and acquired knowledge to perform at a high level
• Requires mentoring and teaching of specific technology skill sets, and may require knowledge transfer to other Tegronites. 
• Lead team of 2-5 technical associates for the delivery of an application or solution
• Requires an ability to present technical solutions to large audience of customers and/or Tegronites, and take leadership role in the success or the application or solution      

• Responsible for design review and technical auditing process 
• Requires the ability to completely develop customer architectures, functional requirements documentation, testing documentation
• Develop a schedule of activities specific to a work breakdown structure
• Required to take technical ownership on applications, and must be able to describe functional requirements to other team members
• Requires continuous oversight, management and leadership of a technical team 
• Must track technical status of a promised/committed solution, and take responsibility of other team member’s work
• Well versed with technical, industry and Tegron standards

Job Requirements

• BS Engineering degree or equivalent educational background
• Typically minimum of 7 years in industry
• Experience designing controls for automating Natural Gas fired, and Electric driven Engines/Motors and reciprocating Compressors utilizing PLC
• Experience in Natural Gas measurement and control, including metering and regulation equipment  specifications
• Proven technical leadership on difficult applications and solutions
• Experience  with ESD, Fire & Gas and safety systems, for on-shore and off-shore facilities
• Experience with Storage and Dehydration Facilities for Natural Gas and NGL
• Duties will require travel and physical work such as climbing and carrying of heavy loads
• Duties in industrial facilities with harsh environments will be required
• Experience working w/ SCADA and data collection, including EGM/EFM histories, & data handling
