During the OpsManage ’09 event, attended by end-user, professionals, and solution providers with vested interest in Wonderware, Glenmount Global Solutions was honored as the winner of the Intelligence Dashboard Competition. This contest challenged top Wonderware partners to develop an innovative industry-specific dashboard using Intelligence 1.0, a new middleware platform unveiled during the show.
Glenmount Global Solutions’ winning entry focused on energy management by highlighting average and current operating costs, which were then broken down into corporate kWh costs and plant kWh current and average costs. According to Troy Miller, Glenmount Global Solutions VP, Sales and Marketing, at least two factors have contributed to setting GGS’s entry apart from the competition. “I attribute this achievement to our talented associates’ dedication to uncompromising quality, and to our focus on utilizing best in breed, proven industrial technologies to create innovative solutions designed to meet the most pressing needs of our clients today.”
